Twitter user gets wedding help thanks to Conan O'Brien

What has Conan been up to since his sudden unemployment?

Conan O'Brien may seem like an unlikely fairy godmother – but he has made one Michigan woman's dreams come true.

Two weeks ago, the late-night comedian decided to follow a stranger on Twitter. That person is 19-year-old Sarah Killen from Fowlerville. "I've decided to follow someone at random," O'Brien tweeted. "She likes peanut butter and gummy dinosaurs." Killen hasn't been the same since. "He's changed my life," she tells PopEater.

Most importantly, she can now have her fantasy wedding, thanks to all the attention O'Brien has drummed up for her. "It has really helped," Killen says. "I'm getting married on September 25, and we didn't know if we would be able to afford it. Now I'm getting custom made shoes and a dress from Kelima in New York … We're getting a limo, Classic Creations is giving us wedding bands and there's a vineyard in California sending us wine. We've got it all covered now."

Killen says O'Brien is invited to her wedding. "My fiancé wants Conan to be his best man," she says. "That would be really cool. And hey, if he wants us to come on his show, we'd get married on there. That would be fantastic."

Well, of course she didn't know if she could afford a wedding - she's 19! Normal 19 year olds don't have enough money to go to the movies, let alone plan a wedding. But good luck, Sarah!

Hot Colin Firth's hot wife Livia wore a second-hand wedding gown to a boring awards ceremony

Colin Firth's wife Livia wore a second-hand wedding dress to the recent Golden Globes as part of an eco challenge.

Fluffy, fluffy! How I love fluffy dresses!

Livia revealed how she received many compliments about the dress, which she wore as part of a challenge to wear only 'ethical and sustainable' dresses and make-up during the awards season. She said: 'No one here seems to get ethical fashion. But everyone was crazy about this dress. I don't think I've ever had so many compliments for a dress in one night.' She added: 'I kissed George Clooney, which made my night frankly.'

DEAR JEEBUS, THEY ARE SO GORGEOUS! She is really pretty! And the dress is really pretty, but it really looks like a wedding gown. My theory is that people kept complimenting her to see if she'd say "Thanks! It's my sister's wedding gown from 2007." While I hate the terms "green" and "eco-friendly" I do love to be cheap and recycle/upcycle things. I'm all for whatever that's called. And, for the record, I would much rather lock lips with Colin Firth than George Clooney. In my mind, it's not even a contest. Oh, Mr. Darcy...

Is this chicken, what I have? Or fish?

This entire article is probably BS, but it's too funny not to post it:

A source close to the [Jessica Simpson] told Tarts that Simpson has been in talks to team up with celebrity jeweler Pascal Mouawad on her own jewelry line, which she wants to include wedding rings. “Jess and her mom are really pushing the wedding rings. Jess wants her own line but Pascal isn’t so keen on that,” dished our insider. “He wants to work with her, but definitely doesn’t think wedding rings would be appropriate for Jessica.”

A few months ago, Simpson hit up a listening party at Mouawad’s home in Hollywood for An-Ya, a Russian pop singer signed to Joe Simpson's music label. But the starlet got a taste for dazzling diamonds by picking up a $10,000 5-carat ring from the party host’s Black and White Diamond Collection, which is said to have sparked her interest.

HAHAHAHA

Most recently, Mouawad worked with Nicole Richie on her House of Harlow line and Jermaine Dupri on the watch line NuPop. Even Lindsay Lohan has been dropping hints that she’s doing a line with him too. A rep for the jeweler told Tarts that the two had mulled over possibly working together, but as yet nothing had been officially worked out.

But perhaps the desire to design the rings indicates Jess is ready to move on with her love life. Word on the street is that Simpson is certainly getting over her ruptured romance with Tony Romo and has fallen head-over-heels for 42-year-old “Smashing Pumpkins” musician Billy Corgan.

First, OH BILLY. I loved you in middle school, man, but you've changed. And not for the better. Second, while I love Jessica Simpson's shoes (they're usually pretty comfy - seriously!) I don't think people want to wear a wedding ring designed by a celebrity. Rings are supposed to be a symbol of love, not a symbol of how much you like terrible pop music. When Jessica Simpson designs push-up bras, I might try one on. For now, I'll stick to her affordable and comfortable shoes.
